About the Job
Looking for Japanese men and women. Women should be in their 30s/40s and men should be in their 40s. Talent should be Japanese. This is a Japanese family on vacation in America. Open to non-actors who are Japanese. MEN will be playing Dad. He is the type who researches a trip for a year and laminates the itinerary, because being prepared is how he manages being nervous. He wishes he were a lot more confident in himself and in life, but he is working on it. WOMEN are playing Mom. She is the quiet engine of the group. Warm, wry, endlessly observant, she's the one who notices the moment before anyone else does, and loves her husband most when he's being ridiculous.
